Graphic novelization of the movie The Brain That Would Not Die (aka The Head That Would Not Die), a 1962 American classic horror and science fiction work directed by Joseph Green and written by Green and Rex Carlton. The film was completed in 1959 under the title of The Black Door, but was not released until May 3, 1962, when it was renamed. The main plot focuses on a mad doctor who develops a means of keeping the parts of the human body alive. He must eventually use his discovery in someone close to him, and the chaos follows.
